Happy Friday to All Our Supporters

Well, we are just one day away from Paul’s Half Marathon challenge, which starts tomorrow at 10:30am in Battersea Park! A few members of the team will be heading down to the start line to cheer him on and wave him goodbye. Others will be standing by with the oxygen tank… just in case!

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Paul’s fundraiser has now raised an incredible £900, helping to bring our overall housing project fundraising total to almost £15,000. While we still have a long way to go to reach the £2 million needed to build our housing project, your support, encouragement, and belief in what we’re trying to achieve keep us moving forward. We have no doubt that, together, we can make this happen.

We have recently heard back from the Charity Commission and have been advised that there is currently a 27-week waiting period for our charity application to be processed. While this is understandably frustrating, as it limits our ability to approach larger corporate donors at this stage, we remain positive and focused. As we always say, one step at a time. We will get there.

I also want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to Mike Smith, Jordan, Lynne, and all the amazing volunteers at The Mary Smith Pantry. The amount that you have donated so far has been absolutely staggering. The Pimlico community truly are legends, and we are so grateful for your loyalty, generosity, and ongoing support. It really does mean so, so much to us and to the people whose lives this project will help transform. You are all absolutely fantastic. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
